From the very moment I learned I was expecting you, you began gifting me with a lifetime of firsts that are beyond measure.
From your first breath to my first look into your ocean blue eyes, you have always brought me into the deep of you.
From your first smile and the first time you laughed, it was in those moments that you first introduced me to my most cherished role – that of being mom.
From your first steps to your first day of school, you taught me the art of letting go without ever releasing you from my heart.
From your first love of airplane rides – when you always insisted on sleeping in your airplane clothes- and your unwavering fascination with the world from the window seat, you have taught me to soar to new heights, so I never held you back.
From your first decision to follow Jesus and the countless moments of worship that followed, you have shown me the strength of your faith and the depth of your character – proving masculinity and manhood time and again.
From your first time in the ring to earning that black belt, your self-discipline and strength have always protected those around you.
From your first love for scuba diving to you being certified in deep-sea dives, I’ll forever treasure you introducing me to the songs of whales and watching turtles dance in your presence.
From watching your first love being for God, family, country, and freedom, true patriotism has been exemplified in your life.
From your first phone call to Dan, asking permission to date Vycktoria, to the day you asked for her hand in marriage on your first piece of purchased land, you have embodied love, honor, protection, and provision.
From sharing your first kiss with your first love, Vycktoria, on your wedding day, to giving a purified legacy of Union done first Spirit before soul and body, you have lived out the truth of how Truth makes us free.
Now, Christian, My Beloved Son, as you embark on a journey of firsts – first-time husband and someday a first-time father, I want to be the first to say…
I love you- forever.
I am eternally proud of you- always.
One of life’s greatest treasures is knowing you were the first to call me “Mama.”
I am privileged and honored to call you my firstborn son.
